Columbie Pictures is an American production and distrabution company. Which produces a wide range of different motion picture. The compant is also a subsidary to Sony Picture Entertainment.

How do they make money?
Columbia Pictures make money by distrabuting and producing a variety of different films that vary in genre. From screwball comedies to horrors. This institution is a subsidary to Sony Picture Entertainment and company that produces not only motion pictures, but online game, mobile entertainment, digital distrabution and television production. Therefore Columbia Pictures is but an extendent of the Sony's wide range of horizonal intergration.
In what way do I think my text can look like a 'real' product?
A way in which my text can look like a real product is by using lots of editing. Keeping my trailer fast paced and interesting, using effects for text to make the trailer look professional. Also to create my own institution logo with a background that would move and look very sleek and professional like the Dreamworks logo. Also if I use a variety of different camera angles and shots, such as match on actions and close ups so I can keep the editing style interesting.
Why do I feel my product is suitable for this company?
I feel that this product is suitable for this company as the only thing it produces is motion pictures. So my film trailer will be the only thing that the company would need to focus on as well as the film itself. Because Columbia Pictures will have no horizontal intergration, making their main priority their motion pictures, trailers and posters.
How my text will be broadcasted in the real world?

What would I do to ensure that my film has a presence on the Internet?
I would be sure to create a website for my film, promoting it with trailer and some information about promotional items and release dates. Also use an animated banner that if is click will link to my films trailer. This would be a interesting and eye catching way to bring attention to my film when people are visiting other websites.

From this post I have learned that Columbia Pictures produces a variety of different films that all belong to a variety of genre's. I have also seen what my product would have to look like in order for it to be considered a product that an institution would produce.
